We were at Bryce Canyon in southern Utah last month, Took a few pics of the crazy rock formations which are at once both beautiful and spooky.
Wind & rain worn rock creating empty castles. Blithe banshees frolic.
We are all just babes in the woods.
A deaf person who has been pleasantly stuck in a dimension between dream and reality, where my sign language turns into written poems.

Such a beautiful and sweet haiku, Ed. I agree that photo does portray something frightening and beautiful about it. I think to me, it’s how the rock formation looks so paper-thin while standing upright, it creates that atmosphere and setting. They kind of look like trees in a way. What also gets me, though, is the heights lol. Still beautiful, though.
